Upper Yarra Community Enterprise have the power.

I think it's clear that humans impact the environment and I think it's clear that it's not negligible because we have regulatory bodies in place to address it.

So if mankind can impact the environment why is it so difficult to believe that we may also impact climate in a way that is also not negligible? Ponder this question.

Rather than accepting any one persons view on things I suggest people investigate the issue themselves. Don't be one of the sheep aimlessly walking around following the wolf. Explore the issue yourselves.

Because the wolf has his own personal agenda vested in business and history and avoidance of environmental and social conscience.

My own agenda is to unveil the way deceptive marketing strategies and public relations strategies influence the way people perceive certain issues. And the issue of native forest destruction is presently top of the list. And this is why. Jim is a strong advocate of Vicforests and a hardcore climate change skeptic. He is advocating the destruction of native forests by supporting both Reflex and Vicforests through his lobbying and commentary to the public. He claims that it's about the jobs but really he wants to see both Reflex and a new Vicforests office established in the area because their establishment validates their cause which is to log native forests.

Furthermore what is more damaging is the relationship he has with the Upper Yarra Community Enterprise (UYCE) and indirectly the Community Banks (Bendigo Bank Brand). His website and his facebook profile are strongly branded with Bendigo Bank logos and UYCE Logos. While he says he supports their fantastic work, actually, by strongly using their logos, he is also creating the perception that both UYCE and Community Banks (Bendigo Bank Brand) strongly endorse his ideology.

For the most part I believe UYCE contribute a great deal to the community and I believe people feel great about the work UYCE are doing. They have shown fantastic initiative and people hold UYCE in high esteem.

Through Jim's association to UYCE he also bathes in that sunlight, and in that love, but Jim's cause and his agenda is destructive.

And that's what makes this relationship dangerous for the broader community. UYCE have the power to quell this notion and show that they aren't endorsing native forest destruction by signing the Ethical Paper pledge. That would show the community that they have an environmental conscience and truly have the sustainability ethics they apparently claim to have.

UYCE have the power to quell this notion and show that they aren't endorsing native forest destruction by signing the Ethical Paper pledge.

Lastly, I had to have a little chuckle about the suggestion that ethicalpaper.com.au had been established by communists given the following news headline, "Thousands of tonnes of timber from Black Saturday illegally sent overseas" probably to Communist China, but really it's no laughing matter.

The Wilderness Society has made corporate Australia its No.1 target, ramping up pressure on the makers of paper brand Reflex to stop using timber logged from native forests.

The Wilderness Society's battle with Australian Paper has already spilled over into cyberspace, with the company last week convincing internet giant Google to stop showing advertisements for the group's ''Ethical Paper'' campaign.

Regarding Anonymity

Jim’s website serves to incite bigotry and hatred towards anyone with an environmental conscience or anyone that accepts 'climate change'. And there is an overwhelming amount of evidence proving climate change is real.

The issue is that many people still will not accept climate change because accepting it means they need to re-evaluate their own personal lives and ethics.

By not accepting climate change they validate their own business lives, mode of thought and five generations of destruction. They force themselves not to accept climate change so they don't have to deal with the social conscience that goes with such destruction - that is unless you are a sociopath and have no social conscience - and there are many out there.

So what happens when a majority of people begin to realise that climate change is real? Well those whose livelihoods depend on industries contributing to climate change are like rats backed into a corner and ready to lash out physically and verbally - and people are afraid of this. And there appears to be a history of violence surrounding such issues in the form of threats and such.

So anonymity serves to protect people in danger while still giving them a voice.

Upper Yarra Community Enterprise needs to wake up on Climate Change.

Upper Yarra Community Enterprise's core purpose is to enhance the prospects of the Upper Yarra Community. So it follows that they should create value in our immediate environment not though its destruction but through preservation. And it follows that any Community Enterprise should embrace "Ethical" business practices.
